Special Birthday Announcement

As some of you may already know, today is the birthday of a very close friend of mine. Please join me in wishing Jack Daniel a happy 155th. His Old No. 7™ and myself have been through quite a bit together over the years, and I plan on raising a few glasses to him this weekend.

Although no-one is sure of his exact date of birth, as mentioned on the JACK DANIEL’S™ website (see below), the first of September is close enough for me.

A town fire that destroyed courthouse records and conflicting headstone dates on Mr. Jack’s and his mother’s graves have left Mr. Jack’s exact date of birth in question. All that’s certain is the month of September. But, for an American icon like Mr. Jack, one day isn’t enough time to celebrate his life, anyway.
